Golf for Cancer Research began in 1998, organized by
a group of volunteers from Lake Arrowhead whose lives were impacted by cancer.
They wanted to help support cancer research and provide hope for others who
might be touched by the misfortune of cancer. Their love of golf and the
generous cooperation of Lake Arrowhead Golf Club formed the basis of the event.
They chose Marshfield Clinic as the recipient of their generosity because of its
world-renowned reputation, advanced cancer treatment and innovative research
programs.
The tradition continues with the event held
annual in August. Various sponsorship opportunities are available and
with your support we can continue to host a top-quality event while
helping to find a cure for cancer.
